We have generations of experience in animal breeding and, most importantly, because we’re a dog family. We encourage you to compare us against other Miniature Schnauzer breeders — we promise that we’ll come out on top every time. We are one of the very few that train dogs professionally and have adapted our breeding program based on our years of training. If you have questions we encourage you to call Meghan and ASK! We are here for you! Once you take your Miniature Schnauzer puppy home, we are still here as a resource. We want to know how it’s going and if you have questions we are happy to answer them.
How are your Miniature Schnauzers priced?
Our pricing is reflective of our commitment to the Miniature Schnauzer breed. Our pricing is one of many areas where we invest a lot of thought and evaluation time. Our Miniature Schnauzers are most certainly not the least expensive out there – but they are the best. Purchasing one of our beautiful Toy Schnauzer, Teacup Schnauzer or Miniature Schnauzer puppies means more than buying a dog that is intelligent, personable, hypo-allergenic, confident and compact. It means bringing a new family member into your home – one that has been conscientiously bred and family-raised with love and the very finest of training and care.
What are your qualifications for breeding your Miniature Schnauzer adults?
The nature of our breeding program originates from several generations of breeding horses, cows and our other farm animals. We have used these generations-proven techniques so that our Toy Schnauzers, Teacup Schnauzers and Miniature Schnauzers have stronger, healthier bodies and can provide many years of family enjoyment.
Our breeding females will be larger than our breeding males. This allows whelping-ease, which reduces the need for veterinarian-assisted births. We would never breed any Miniature Schnauzer, male or female, that demonstrates any genetic weakness or chronic problem. This means that we have taken great care to provide you with the best four-legged companion available. We distinguish ourselves from other dog breeders by implementing these, and several other responsible practices, into our program.
Can I see your facility?
Yes! We welcome you anytime. Call and make an appointment 435-452-1607.
How do you determine which Miniature Schnauzers are suitable for breeding?
Our dogs must first pass our personality, body structure, hair coat and trainability standard testing. We raise the majority of our breeding Miniature Schnauzer adults from puppies, so we have an intimate and thorough understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses. The last test our adult Miniature Schnauzers go through before breeding is their OFFA testing as well as Embark; this ensures our offspring inherit excellent health, which promotes longevity. What type of training is done before I take my Miniature Schnauzer puppy home?
Every puppy will have early neurological stimulation and training. Each Miniature Schnauzer puppy will be started on crate training: being comfortable in a crate by itself during the day, and sleeping in a crate by itself at night.
Additional training: 1-for self-starters we offer a training video. 2-for individual lessons we offer one-on-one coaching. 3-for those that want to ensure a great start and want a well trained pup from the start we offer board & train. All options can be viewed in detail on the training page.
When can I take my Miniature Schnauzer puppy home?
The minimum age is 8 weeks, but if you are buying one of our smaller Miniature Schnauzer puppies, he or she may need to stay with us until the age of 12 – 16 weeks.
Naturally, if you choose the board & train option for training, your pup will stay with us for an additional 4 w, so will go home at 12 weeks.
